Under the proposal, will all Wootton kids - even juniors and seniors - move to the Crown location for the 2027-28 school year? I know the general idea is not to change boundaries for juniors and seniors, but I'm not sure if a change in building is the same thing? It seems silly to move only the freshmen and sophomores since that would make it harder to fill classes, form sports teams, etc., so hoping that's not the plan!
The document says only 9th and 10th graders will move.
Do you see that specifically for Wootton? I know only 9th and 10th graders will face the boundary changes, but I couldn't figure out what would happen with the change in building for Wootton kids, which seems like a different thing. The articulation charts make it look like Wootton will be empty for the 2027-2028 school year (see page 28 of 35 at https://go.boarddocs.com/mabe/mcpsmd/Board.nsf/files/DQZPB463C37A/$file/Supt%20Rec%20Crown%20Damascus%20260205.pdf). But I haven't read the whole document so hoping someone else found something more definitive!
