Unless you are talking about math and science focused privates, why would you expect private school to accelerate your child in math? I think of private school as providing a well rounded education with fewer classroom disruption and more time and energy for discussion and exploration especially in the middle to higher grades. If you just want math acceleration, stick with free public and stick your kid in an outside math class.[/quote]
