I had faint, fine dark hairs on my upper lip when I was young. Had a bf who would make a point of saying IN FRONT OF FRIENDS to not ever shave it. (He was sincere, he was not being sarcastic. But we weren't together long and I think he was actually in the closet gay). I didn't do anything about them and afaik this never affected my social life. Menopause, different story, more of them, stiffer and more noticeable, and I use tweezers. [/quote]
