I gave my kid a prompt each morning and she had the day to develop a short story that she presented to me in the evening. Made for some fun reads
This can't be real.
Check out the story pirates podcast you can hear all kinds of amazing things kids have created and I think each podcast has a prompt for a story
OK I'll admit to being the PP who said this and I was mostly kidding, but that sounds cool and I'll check it out!
I have grown to really love kid podcasts for a long car rides (my kids can't read in the car due to car sickness and we would rather not do screens non-stop in cars) My other recommendations are - smash boom best (which is this hilarious mock debate) - million bazillion (talks about money questions for children, is actually really interesting) - greeeking out (mostly focused on Greek mythology but sometimes they venture out into other cultures myths)
