They don’t believe. It’s all fake. If they did they would be throwing themselves to their feet every Sunday begging God to forgive them for the hate in their hearts, and Monday through Saturday doing the hard work of atonement.

They want Old Testament God who smites down people left and right for erring, but a New Testament Jesus who forgives them simply by believing he’s the Messiah. It’s such a joke. These people belong nowhere near our public discourse or our laws - they are mentally ill. [/quote]
