Tell them they failed, or they have ADHD or something like that. Kids egos are fragile, they usually accept it. Then, in 9th grade they will love being the biggest/ smartest freshman. And if you are going for a D1 scholarship, this strategy pays off big time to do it twice (6th grade and 8th grade); freshman mustache optional! [/quote]
