Prolonged drug use definitely causes brain damage - including use of alcohol.

The causes of SD are not yet clear to researchers, but there is definitely a genetic component and Kerry Kennedy, RFK Jr.’s sister, also has SD.

Presumably all of the dozen (?) offspring of the family got recommended childhood vaccines and yet most don’t have SD, so while the whole family case is anecdotal, it argues against a link to vaccines. SD researchers have never established any link to vaccines.[/quote]
