Just not sure how you can argue that the current "balance" between option and neighborhood schools benefits anyone living in S Arlington. And honestly, if the county is never going to make any real change to address the segregation issue (few districts have the political will), I'd rather have more options for my kid than a low performing, poorly funded school even if it means shifting social/economic capital out of neighborhood schools. Not a popular stance I know. [/quote]
