I was going to post in Beauty & Fashion but I'm interested in ideas beyond clothing. I work at home in a drafty old house. Here's what I do already: Run a space heater under my desk Wear long underwear top under sweaters (but don't love the texture and hate the pants) Wear LL Bean slippers during the day (like these: https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/83162) Am considering: Wool tights Merino long underwear Heated vest Also, maybe considering: Iron supplements Going back to work in an office What works for you? What's the thing you couldn't get through winter without?
This is what I did with the landlord's permission. Installed plastic peel and stock "storm windows" over the inside of all windows. Put escucheon plates around small holes surrounding piping going to radiators. Bleed the radiators once a week to get out any excess air so that the water is pumped through more efficiently. Put stick on weather stripping around the exterior doors to prevent drafts. Hope this helps.
