This thread is created by a male sad basement dweller who can't get anyone match with him to bush "older" women.

Nice cope but that is the reality.

If you're an attractive man in his 40s, financially well off, in good shape and don't have a face that looks like plate of hammered beef patties you can do very well for yourself.  If you've worked hard in your 20s and 30s and manage to come out of the divorce with relatively unscathed a decent man will do great.  If you have an interesting life or hobbies even better.

Women get an inflated ego because there is more men on dating apps and a lot of men will just match anyone they can so they can get laid as they're desperate.  I tended to just pay the premium on those apps to avoid swipe fatigue and see who likes me first.  I can tell you as a solid 6 maybe 7 myself a lot of women who wanted to match with me we're not attractive.  That's just me being nice.  I had relative success with Hinge and Raya but otherwise I met women whine I was out.  I think social media is stupid and I only have it to keep up with what my family and kids do as they're addicted to tiktok and Instagram and post often.  Anything I have posted on there is just some pictures of me traveling or doing something and most people that message me there are bots minus the one or two women who were like 20 years older than me.

Fact remains I'm kind of tall, well off and not a bad looking guy and I'm still finding dates in apps or in person quite a bit.  When I first got divorced I was like a kid in a candy store and easily had a couple of dates a week.  Once again, I work really hard on myself so that helps. If I'm pulling a lot of great women in a scenarios where the odds aren't in my favor better looking men than me are certainly doing much better than me.

Still, better to meet someone in real life as the longest and most current relationship I have I met at the gym.  Abd they were/are both 10+ years younger than me, I hair happen to look you get that I am.[/quote]
