You guys are raising taxes. Arlington recently raised the restaurant tax again, it's like 12% now (we only pay 6% in MoCo). And remember how Youngkin promised to get rid of that crazy grocery tax -- whatever happened to that? And if you think your incomes taxes won't go up, think again....

That AstraZeneca story is the only story MoCo has to hang its hat on. Development like that happens multiple times a year in NoVa.

I’m still waiting on the Purple Line. Along the Silver Line, which opened a few years ago, the Lerners have a sign up in Tysons selling office and retail space for Tysons 3 (!!!) while the Lerners have left White Flint Mall fenced off and vacant for years and years now. Why are the Lerners so bullish on Virginia while they let a property like White Flint Mall collect dust and languish? The answer should tell you all you need to know. [/quote]

So the Lerners weren't all that bullish on Virginia. Evidently, they've only started to move forward because they want to build a casino on that site.[/quote]
