Normally it doesn’t matter too much, but they’re a public school and state lawmakers already don’t like the OOS percentage.[/quote] Agreed. And in addition to external Michigan state politics, there may be internal university politics at play. There may be different factions within the administration and even within the admissions office regarding whether they should offer ED at all. That could also explain why the policy was announced with so little notice. [/quote]
