Op, there is an upscale shopping area within a quick walk and lots of off resort restaurants in walking distance. Personally wouldn’t vacation in either Cancun or Punta Cana at any price.[/quote] I agree. I’m not going to Mexico sadly or Punta Cana no matter how much cheaper. We went to Turks and Caicos a few years ago and had a nice time. The beaches are very very nice.[/quote]
