I’m a 47yo Jewish lady who’s been in DC for the last 25 years and I think she looks fantastic. Love the hair, love the coat, love the boots.
Not Jewish, but same. So cute.
+1, I love seeing women like this in the public eye. Even if I wouldn't dress exactly like her, it just adds to some diversity of style in public spaces. There has been such a boring sameness to the way public women look in the last decade or two. I don't blame the women, most are just looking to avoid too much criticism or focus on their looks by adhering to the status quo, since the online criticism can be so relentless and unfair. But it's really fun to see a woman in the public eye just wearing what she wants and not bending to that pressure. She comes off as very comfortable in her own skin and sure of herself, really great qualities. I'm mid-40s but am excited about seeing more of these younger millennial and Gen Y and Boomer women enter the public eye and mix it up a bit. I don't look like Duwaji but I also don't look like whatever most political wives look like either. Duwaji's approach to style is a lot more interesting and appealing to me.
