Iran is just a casualty of Israel’s dominance of US politics. The US should be allied with Iran. Iran is a real country, located in an important strategic location and has oil. The differences between Israel and Iran theocracies are the Israeli racism, oppression and genocide.
I really can’t tell if this is supposed to be sarcastic.
DP. Is Iran involved in a genocide? Did Iran steal land to create a country that never existed? If the US had to choose between Israel or Iran as an ally you would take Iran in 10 out of 10 times.
Yes Iran has been involved in a genocide all while chanting Death to America and supporting terrorists who kill Americans. Are people this ignorant or people genuinely would support Iran? Why do so many liberals support fundamentalists who kill gay men, support terrorism, and think it is acceptable to beat and subjugate women?
Israel blew up an Americans ship https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident
Interesting. I had never heard of this before (NP). Based entirely on the linked Wikipedia entry, it’s impossible to tell whose claims are true, in terms of whether or not the Israelis knew the boat was American vs got confused and assumed it was Egyptian. There’s almost too much information out there. You could make a strong argument either way if you ignore evidence from the other side, but not after weighing all the Wiki evidence. The “knew it was American” side seems to make more logical sense, but there’s a big flaw when you ask what they would stand to gain from that, unless you jump to “false flag, blame the Egyptians” which is too far down Conspiracy Road for me to co-sign without better evidence. Sorry, not related to Iran. Personally, I would love to see regime change in Iran but believe that’s up to the Iranians and not the US.
