For setting, I might pick the University of Montana, Missoula.
Have you visited both University of Montana and Montana State University ? If yes, which did you find to be more beautiful ? Thank you in advance.
Although I've traveled through Bozeman, in terms of actual campus visits, I've seen only the University of Montana from these two. I remember the flatlanders with whom I traveled, in particular, being impressed by UM's setting.
Thanks for responding to my question. We visited the University of Montana during the summer of 2022. Maybe I expected too much, but I was disappointed. The buildings seemed old and worn. the setting was nice, but not spectacular. After learning that the Brad Pitt movie "A River Runs Through It" which was supposedly set in Missoula, but actually filmed in the Bozeman area, I wished that we had taken time to visit the Montana State University campus.
