Disney does kids like no one else.  The memory that sticks out for me are that the waiters rotate with you to the different restaurants each night.  By night 3, our waiters knew my kids.  They had their soft drinks waiting for them at the table before we sat down.  When my kids tried to order something without a vegetable, they gently encouraged them to at least try a vegetable since your mom is going to tell you to anyway---they had heard me over the last few nights telling the kids.  And the one that still makes me smile--the kids were rambunctious one evening.  They had ordered a meat dish.  One server was engaging with me, talking to me about my day, and pouring my wine.  The other server was cutting up my kids food so I didin't have to.  By the time I was saying thank you for my wine pour, the kids were actually eating their food and I had nothing left to do.

I lost my 5 yr old on Castaway Caye.  I panicked and looked for 5 min before I said something to a cast member.  During this time, I'm having all sorts of thoughts of my kid being in the ocean and drowning.  They had him in under 2 min and brought him back to me.

I was with my young kids so I can't talk to what the ship is like for teens or people cruising without kids.  But I'm looking forward to going again once I have grandkids and they are old enough.  Oh, and they do an incredible job with hand washing on the ship. [/quote]

This brought tears to my eyes. I’ve been the primary caretaker for 10 years with a spouse who travels full time. The kindness of the waiters will make me cry! [/quote]
