Does FCPS have children’s best interest at heart?   The people at Gatehouse don’t work with children.  The teachers do, but most of them are overwhelmed, and Gatehouse policies are only ever a burden not a support system.  As a teacher, myself, I find that parents who are involved and community-minded (i.e., not trying to give their own kids unfair advantages, delivering consequences for their child’s disruptive behavior) have helped me the most.  I thank God for the parents who are trying to ensure their kids are not only well educated, but also growing into productive and helpful members of society.  [/quote]
