They aren’t really dropping rapidly.  They are sold for massively cheaper prices abroad (I would say 1500% cheaper…but since our dipshit president is so stupid…often 75%+ cheaper) and just like statins, when they come off patent you will be able to get them for just like $10/month or less.[/quote]

Cash prices are down to $300/mo for starting doses and $499/mo for maintenance doses. The negotiated rates insurers pay are much lower than the cash prices. By contrast, the popular biologic I take is $7,300/mo cash price. [/quote]

And you can get them in many European and Asian countries for under $50/month…and the manufacturers are still making a ton of money at that price. The question isn't whether GLP-1s should cost less. The question is whether the reason OP is paying 1/3 of their salary on healthcare premiums is because GLP-1s are driving up costs. They aren't. At least not in a remotely meaningful way. [/quote]
