How many frickin' times do you see a mouse on the couch??????????????  I am about to turn 43 and I have NEVER seen a mouse on the couch.  We had one field mouse in a old house get in and was trapped about 10 years ago, but that is the only time I've seen a mouse in the house.[/quote]

Op here. That is a really unnecessary comment. Had couch (and rest of upholstered furniture) cleaned and sanitized. No droppings or anything on it or around it. Going to keep it and see what happens. In the meantime, put packets of bait around.  Thanks for all of the helpful comments.[/quote]

Yes, I meant it to be satire on the faux "I'm such a germaphobe, my house is completely germ free and spotless at all times, and if god forbid I found vermin (impossible, but let's just say) I would indeed burn the house down and start over.  Because I am just that clean and special.[/quote]
