My college kid needs to do internships that usually run the first part of the summer, but my youngest needs to be back weeks before school starts due to fall sports tryouts bring in early August. So we really can’t take a summer vacation all thirteen. When my oldest got into college, I had looked at the four years of her spring break and was excited that one year would line up with McPS. I’m surprised that after decades of doing spring break the week before Easter, McPS is changing to after Easter for 2027. [/quote]
