Chico State Cal Poly Humboldt- Sacremento State -3000 trees Sonoma State Cal Poly SLO For the UCs Berkeley has a beautiful campus with views of the bay, Santa Barbara and San Diego are on the ocean, Santa Cruz is in the redwoods and a short shuttle to the beach, Davis is full of trees, bike trails and a cute town, [/quote] The East Bay hills are adjacent to Berkeley, providing hiking access to Tilden Park which runs from North Oakland to Richmond.
