But fact remains most families CANNOT do that. Most kids leave undergrad with debt and parents cannot/do not help with graduate/professional school. Do you want future doctors to only come from rich families? Because many "could afford to help some" but instead smartly choose to prepare for their own retirement. Fact remains a 22+ yo is not the responsibility of their parents. they are an adult and you should not consider parental worth when applying FA. [/quote]
