What some are saying is it isn’t all racism from admin. Maybe societal racism has been so terrible that it’s given certain kids so much less hope. But all kids need to follow the rules and if you do things like bring drugs or weapons to school, or start a fight, yes you should receive a consequence no matter what color you are or what underlying personal or societal reasons contributed to your poor decision tree leading up to that offense.
