Diamonds do not hold much value in and of themselves and only became popular due to marketing in 1947 by De Beers which specifically linked diamonds to engagements. Also natural diamonds hold very little worth or value after they’re purchased as well. With all the ethical considerations of “blood diamonds” it’s way better to get a lab diamond.[/quote]
