No- it was way out of bounds that my son shared it. He was basically gossiping. We'd already dealt with it and the neighbor didn't need more grief over what happened. [/quote]

Huh? They’re saying that the way you handled it after the fact was emotionally mature. You did what we would all want other families to do : hold our kids accountable for when they do something wrong. The OP is coming and doing what your son did, gossiping about what all these other kids are seeing and saying.  [/quote]
