On a more serious note, the comment was mostly rhetorical. However, Caroline co-wrote two books with Ellen Alderman, which explore our democracy. The titles are, In [u]Our Defense: The Bill of Rights in Action[/u] (1991) and [u]The Right To Privacy[/u] (1995). These are subjects we as Americans should be very concerned about in an era where our civil rights are being trampled. When I searched for the titles of these books, I learned she has written quite a few books in a wide range of subjects. She has also served as ambassador to Australia and Japan. So she is not a lightweight, even if she has not served in office.[/quote] You realize those are two countries where the ambassador is usually a donor or friend, right?[/quote]
