No. If I'm the one taking up the time, I would want the people waiting to be informed. A plane can be delayed by unpreventable weather conditions, but they don't have us crammed at the gate standing and waiting. They let us know.

Don't bring me back there if you're not ready for me. If it's a true emergency, let me know. An assistant, nurse, or Admin can come by and say it'll be a while, do you want to get dressed while you wait? or reschedule?[/quote]
It isn't comparable to an airline. These are tightly scheduled appts and that's how it works. The doctor is doing what needs to be done. It will be your turn one day. [/quote]

It can be done.

I have to take the last appt of the day because of my own job. I’ll rush to the office just to sit for 45 minutes in the waiting from and an additional 45 in the back.

If you know it’s going to take well over an hour for me to be seen, then tell me when I arrive or (better yet) call me and tell me I can come later.

I’m also busy and I don’t have 1.5 hours to sit around. [/quote]
