A lot of Walmart workers and other people working full time qualify for SNAP. Remember not many years ago when the news reported how Walmart provided employees with info on how to get SNAP, medical assistance, etc? Plus, most large employers like Walmart, corporate McDonald's stores, nursing homes chains, etc etc automatically ask applicants to fill out a form saying whether they have been been receiving assistance, because the employer gets a tax credit--aka kickback--called the Work Opportunity Tax Credit for hiring them.
