I was definitely a late bloomer. I was tall and skinny which is not a great look.  Then, I was an avid bike racer (road and mountain) which made me look even worse.  Once I got into lifting and put on quite a bit of muscle plus got older looking it really seemed to change things. [/quote]

There is a huge difference between 50 and 60 for men. 50 is pretty much the same as 40 for men who workout and take a good care of themselves. Things really start going downhill for 60+ men . They look worse than 60s women in my opinion [/quote]

Completely agree with this. My dad looked younger than my mom until their 60s, then within a couple year span, he started looking really old (white hair, bags under his eyes, liver spots on his skin, hunching over, looks tired all the time), but she still looks the same as she did in her early fifties because she's always been high maintenance about working out, skin care and procedures, fashion, hair, etc.  [/quote]
