The prior poster makes some good points about visiting to see if Wootton renovation is needed down the road. With the decline in enrollment if that continues downwards for a decade we won’t need the two ones plus a renovated Wootton, Magruder and Damascus. We’ll probably need 2 of those 3 however. If MCPS renovates and expands QO, that’d also add capacity.

The bottom line is MCPS has an insane amount of capital needs and ensuring we can budget for them all is important. It maybe that the replacement of Wootton is a short term sacrifice if enrollment isn’t supporting it.[/quote]
