You do realize that our house payment is very low? Also one car is new Hyundai but I drove my old one until it had 189k. There are two car payments in that number and one was purchased used. I bought a new car but I don't see why that's bad. I need reliablility. I have a long commute. Also I can't afford to shop at whole foods. It's safeway or giant. For all of you bashing, id like a run down of your annual expenses?
No, you don't need a rundown of my expenses, because I'm not asking for or getting tuition assistance. It's bad that you purchased a new car at that price because you are asking for tuition assistance. Do you see a common theme here? You could (and should) have used some of the money you are spending on a car to pay tuition. It's pretty simple. Are you seriously saying that you don't see the hutzpah in your question? You are essentially asking the school, and the parents who contribute to the annual fund, to pay for the difference between a new and used car.
