I've met two tradespeople for bids on some work at my house (probably in their 40s) recently who told me they started out in office jobs (tech and banking) that they left because they were so bored with numbers or just wanted more interaction with people. They both seemed smart and maybe they are exceptions because they're smart and educated. However, just because you can do a job doesn't mean you will like it. [/quote]
