I think some people are just more susceptible to the virus that causes warts.  Both of my kids swim, and they share a bathroom.  Only one of them has an issue with warts.  The other kid doesn't get them at all.[/quote]

All HPV is not equal. Some is awful. Some are deadly.

I am confused as to.why you're upset that someone correctly identified it as an HPV virus, because that's accurate.  Pretty much everyone gets some kind of wart virus.

Where you get the virus exposure does matter.  I know someone who is a health professional who had a terrible complication from HPV inside their nasal cavity caused from their exposure when they burning off warts back in the 80s, not knowing that could put particles of the virus in the air.  But your feet aren’t going to cause that.

Kids are likely to get warts on their hands and feet at some point.  That's reality.  Kids who get warts on their hands and feet are not dirty or gross.  It doesn't make you a bad parent to have a kid ypu got warts.  But it is a good PSA on why all kids should get the HPV vaccine?[/quote]
