Did OP say they were conservative or cared about that?

CMC did a recent political attitudes poll of their students and 60-70% of students identify as far left or left. I haven't seen one for Wesleyan yet but would assume it's more like 80+% at Wes.

And yes, I'm sure you can be conservative at both campuses but LACs in general tend to attract a very liberal student population. My DD is at Scripps (part of 5Cs) and she says the 5C campuses are overwhelmingly liberal, bordering on far left. She has one conservative friend who has shared with her that she self-censors a lot of her views.

true but it's definitely still a minority compared to the majority of CMC students and certainly an extreme minority compared to wider 5C community. good luck to them finding someone to date if you try to find a partner in the wider 5C crowd! many cmcers look outside their college to date since their own is so intimate and small.[/quote]
