Or I could say nothing, I guess, and just wait for the project to be over.

You are not a good person.  Imagine not allowing a worker to use your bathroom!  He didn't take a dump in your living room!!!!  Provide spray in the bathroom and let the workers use the room as it is meant to be used!!
