GG at least gave the staff decent raises for the first time in years.  And he gave us our now taken away telework that was effective and the staff sorely misses but PA won’t reinstate.  And allowed for a two hour dismissal prior to holidays that PA for some reason thinks is stupid and won’t do even though OPM has issued guidance saying it’s ok.

It’s not really about kissing the staff’s butt. It’s the fact that there are little things he could be doing that he chooses not to.  It sends a message.  Sure, it could be a lot worse and everyone appreciates that it’s not.  But we should also be able to call the issues like we see them.[/quote]

PP did sound a touch whiney. But it is just another indication that the Chairman loathes staff. I don’t know why he’d come run an agency where he loathes its employees but it is clear how political this is. All the “new day” and “make IPOs great again” nonsense.  Hopefully we will all get a break from one another with a nice long shutdown. [/quote]

He is a jerk. He actually expects people to show up to work and work full days for full pay, even the day before one of the numerous holidays that they get. What an awful person.

And he doesn’t piss away 1.5 hours by jamming everyone into an auditorium to answer stupid trite questions that lower management can already answer.  What a jerk!

Nor does he waste time playing stupid games with the “rockstar” union head and joke about football while everyone watches for an hour.

And the worse thing about him is all the RIFs and pay cuts that he’s imposed. A real prick.
