Why so defensive? Climbing grocery  prices are a real problem that affect everyone. I spend an inordinate amount of time and money at grocery stores, as I imagine many other posters on a parenting message board do. I notice when things are going up little by little and when they’re going up sharply all of a sudden. I suppose it’s possible that stores like Aldi and Lidl have managed to stave this off so far, but the economic conditions overall are not going in the right direction.[/quote]

I don’t keep receipts as in literal slips of paper but yes I do track my weekly spending. [/quote]
