I am a liberal woman. I think Kate is great because she is dignified and gracious. And we need more dignified and gracious people in this world. It is also fun to see how she and William are growing into their roles. It is not that deep. [/quote]

You can't possibly be a liberal woman and think that the racist POS Kate is dignified and gracious or that her husband is anything but an angry lazy sack of shit who treats her like shit. Kate social climbed to her position. Her mother pushed her to decline admission to another (better!) college so that she could go to St Andrew's when William was there. When they learned he would be on a trip to Chile, she took a trip to the same place at what she thought was the same time but missed him because he changed his dates at the last minute. She was known by his friends as "sex waiting" and "the mattress" because she always made herself available to him on his terms. There is so much out there from their college days and and before their wedding. I didn't think most people really know the real Kate Middleton. Let's not even forget how mean she was to William's cousins before marriage and Meghan Markle when she married Harry. Kate has a not so great reputation. But William is far far worse and for that reason alone I sometimes feel really sorry for her.

Southern WW love her because they tend to be about image, status, and white supremacy. Kate embodies their ideals of a commoner white woman who became a Disney princess with the titles and tiaras and jewels. It's a white girl fantasy... I'm surround by them in my family. They  also have negligent husbands and troublesome in-laws but think that their money and status is worth it. They likely don't work and are dependent on their husbands/fathers and social status to keep them afloat.

Remember the south wanted to stay a British realm and wanted to maintain slavery. Of course they identify with Kate Middleton and she knows it too because there is a hilarious portrait of her for her 40th birthday where she is styled as being from the Antebellum era.
