I only give out - Almond Joy Kit Kat M&M And individual packs of - Pirate's Booty Pringles Goldfish Rice Krispy Treats.
Yeah, that crap gets thrown away or put away by mom to put in their lunchbox later. We give full-sized white Hershey's Cookies-n-Cream bars (we get three cases and they're snatched up quickly), full-sized Sour Patch Kids, and full-sized Reese's Cups. If anything is left, it's usually the Reese's Cups. We used to do Skittles too but, now that they're on the Millennial blacklist and I don't want the moms to freak out when they see them, we have just doubled-up on everything else. We are usually just
I am really fine if their moms put it in their lunchbox. I am never left with any treats after Halloween. Someone is using it. Infact, I am tempted to completely get rid of the candy and only put these snack packs.
Nobody is going to refuse it but it’s not exactly a coveted treat. You could give away nickels or raisins and conclude that because they weren’t refused, they must be popular. Kids will take whatever is offered.
And I am perfectly fine with it. I don't have to be the wish fulfilling person for other people's children. My kids get what they want. I take their ToT discarded candy to work and it gets devoured by my coworkers. So it seems that kids and grownups will take any crap or lunchbox item that I put out at home or at the office. It is free stuff. And people need some crap to stuff in their faces.
Let me guess... your kids are allowed two pieces on Halloween night and one piece daily for a week. Then you take the rest to work and secretly judge any of your co-workers who take as piece as being undisciplined and fat.
