The truth is they don't want someone from Podunk High School who has never taken an AP, they'd rather have the kid of a professor or a rural doctor's kid or a tech person's kid who goes to a boarding school and can handle rigor and is full-pay.[/quote] Very very true. Better if they get to mark rural too. My daughter’s roommate at a T10 is from aspen. Parents are “retired”. Yes, she’s rural. [/quote]
