Yeah, why doesn't Israel just suck up all those decades of terror from the Palestinians instead of retaliating?  Why doesn't Israel just forget about those hostages, and get comfortable with the idea that a Hamas which is allowed to survive will be a resurgent Hamas from which only future terror can be expected?  Why can't Israel see that stopping short of fully annihilating every trace of Hamas will lead to peace and prosperity for everyone?  Incomprehensible, isn't it?   [/quote]
