True, but the Dems haven't had a legitimately competitive primary since 2008. In that competitive 2008 primary a guy by the name of Biden got absolutely crushed by two legitimate presidential contenders. This was when Biden was in his mid 60s and gave an appearance of fitness and coherence. Amazing how we were duped into thinking that guy who was such a weak candidate when he was in his prime could somehow do us any good at 80 years old.[/quote]
