It's a Scholastic Aptitude Test, which, by definition, tests what one has learned in a scholastic (i.e. school) setting. Intelligence tests, AKA IQ tests, are something different. Sounds like your kid gave up after one or two attempts. Nothing wrong with that, but neither is there anything wrong with being more competitive and trying to raise an overall score. [/quote]
