Agree with this.  Attended a Big3 DC private high school and worked their tail off.  I was so much work. 
Currently has a 4.0 after 2 years in a STEM major at Cornell. Continually says how much easier college is than high school was.

I'm sure this doesn't apply to all majors at all schools, however, it has been the overall consensus since I was a college student in the 90's that the above three schools plus Caltech are the academically difficult ones, at least for the hard sciences or engineering. [/quote]
