OP here. I totally agree with you. I don't necessarily consider my career to have been a total failure. In this economy I am thankful to have a job where I make $210k. For some of you it's nothing I get it.

Let's say half of your pre tax goes to child care and alimony. So you 110K in pre tax income left. You can afford to date and live well on that. Just don't date a broke woman. Date a 50 year old who is absolutely done having kids and makes 100k too.[/quote]
