McDonald’s is nostalgic to DH because that was the only place his divorced ever took him the few times he would show up. It’s nostalgic to me because it’s what we would eat on road trips or sometimes my dad would get it later in the evening after dinner as a 10 pm or 11 pm snack. As a teenager we would ride our bikes there. Once I hit college, it receded into the rear view mirror. Now it’s occasionally where we will stop when on road trips but not often. Kids don’t really like it.[/quote]
