I am thrilled that my six year old daughter already seems to care greatly about her appearance. She's into clothes and make up, and it's great fun. She's wanted to share my make up since she was about 2. Being pretty is a nice way to go through life, just saying. Doesn't mean you can't also have great accomplishments. And actually, being pretty makes accomplishing things easier - doors open up thanks to looking good, fair or not. I have a successful career and a high income, and I wouldn't dare show up for work without being dolled up. Like PP said...it's the way I was raised. And it's worked out well![/quote]
