Last years vax still offers protection, at least 4 months. There is a surge coming, strain that is a bit more infectious, so I’d get it. With so many if the population unvaxxed, or unboostered, it could be a problem. [/quote]
My understanding is that last year's vax is not matched at all with this new strain.

WHO said in the spring that countries could continue using last year's vaccine in this upcoming season because it is still a good match for current strains.
