I know many W&L grads and they often do come across as arrogant & condescending.

The prior poster probably mistyped "W&M" when intending to write "W&L". I have never read or heard of William & Mary grads being described as arrogant, but have for many years experienced this arrogant quality with with Wash & Lee grads.[/quote]
